Founded in 2018, nProjekt aims to explore new approaches to artistic and curatorial research, art engagement and exhibition, deliberately seeking out artist-run spaces around the world to initiate dialogue through artistic production. The inaugural project, Under•Line, was developed with the simple aim of exploring alternatives to exhibition and art-making routines. Its 10 editions travelled to Barcelona, The Hagen, Lisbon, Perth, Rotterdam, Sydney, Tokyo, Trondheim, and from its home base in Hong Kong.
The second series, Non-Solo, rolled out in the summer of 2021, exploring cross-disciplinary ways to expand the possibilities and scope of exploration beyond solo exhibitions. The 2024 editions will begin in March in Barcelona.
Remembrance is a series exploring personal and collective memory; after an edition in Argentina in June 2022, there will be two editions in the first quarter of 2024. The fourth series, Inter•Phase, exploring the boundary between the natural and the man-made, took place on a remote island in Finland in 2022.
